Getting to hate this engine B20B 140-160 1970

The repair kits I got from Joe Curto had BAL needles. I switched to the BBB (what the factory supplied) needles because I had an extra pair and that is what I have in the '72 and that car has no running issues at all. Doesn't appear to be a big difference between the two needles, but the differences are probably so small that I could not decern them anyway.

I guess I'll inquire about different needles if all other avenues fail.

Interesting point about your differing fuel mileages. When we head up to Youngs Cove every summer, my 745 gets about 2-3 mp(US)g improvement on Canadian fuel. Always wondered if there are different additives in the Canadian fuel or no additives at all to explain this. Haven't noticed a difference between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia fuels but just Can/US. This pattern is repeated every year, 25-26 mpg in the States, 27-28 in Canada.
Like the better mileage, don't like the higher prices.
