ignition problems with 740 lh2.2 700

Hello,
It all started when I changed the ignition switch- wipers weren't workink, Now they do but the car won't start. I didn't disconect the battery because my wife took my other 760 with all the tools, so I just replaced the switch with the battery connected. few hours later I tryed to start the engine- nothing, cranked few more times, after about 5 min it started. Took a 3 mile trip, 6 hours later same problem- car won't start. It did 15 minutes later, and when I pulled in the gas station it died for good. I checked the spark- no spark. altough after I release the key ( when starter stops turning there is a spark)Fuel injection relay goes on(the first one closer to the engine) the second one doesn't always(fuel pump) it seams to be some sort of delay. checked the coil swaped the coil and power stage with another one- still nothing. I am going to test the hall sensor right now, but to me looks like I burned the control unit somehow, although friend of mine says that if the car started once, the control unit should be good.By the way changed distributor and spark plugs- old ones were really bad.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
