The ones from ipd come with a harness. it is connected to the front siganl lights and runs through the fenders. One thing they don't tell you in the instructions is there is a rubber plug that has to be removed for the light to fit in and if you're not careful it will fall in the fender never to be seen again! I out mine in so they would be on all the time and flash when you signal the other way is to only come on with the signals. I like mine better as you are better seen at night and the extra light helps in parking lots at night.
