There are two screws under the caps where a roof handle could go if Volvo had have put one there, right over the drivers door. Pry the outside of the caps and they will pop of. Take the two screws out there, then you can pry that panel back and get to the panel screw that you want to take off. There is a button fastener that will pop off about mid way down the panel, then just pull the panel upwards and it will relaese from the bottom fastener.
