Check Engine Light - Code 2.1.2 - 1994 960 Sedan 900 1994

Hello -

1994 960 Sedan with 144,000 miles

The check engine light came on last week. Thanks to the FAQ, I pulled and checked the code (2-1-2) and came up with "Signal missing/faulty from oxygen sensor".

I figured that the O2 sensor was probably the original sensor and it at finally failed after 11 years. I ordered the new Bosch OE sensor from FCP and replaced it Tuesday. I then cleared the fault code.

The car drove fine for two days until this morning when the check engine light came on again. I pulled the code and was surprised to see that it was the same code as before (2-1-2).

I'm going to check the connections on the sensor tonight and make sure that nothing came loose.

What else should I look for?

Thanks in advance.
