Intermittent running like a lawn mower… 700 1985

I’ve been having this weird intermittent problem with my B230FT 212K. About once a week when I give her a lot of gas pedal my turbo (Mitsu TD04)will flutter (best way I can describe it). My Volvo literally sounds like a lawn mower with no power. If I let off the throttle a little and gradually reapply pressure it still flutters but not as bad. Recently I’ve replaced all the vacuum lines, cleaned the throttle body, idle air control valve and oil separator box. Plugs and wires are also good along with both fuel pumps and filters. After reading many posts I’m thinking my AMM may be going. I really hope this is not true because we all know how expensive they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any further info from me please feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance,
nocluetim
