Need help with engine 200

I'm trying to identify exactly what kind of engine my '84 244 has so I can hopefully take one of its pistons out and put it into my 91. My Hanes manual said that the '84 has either a B21 or B23 engine, but I'm almost positive that my '84 has the later B230F engine in it. I think this because my '84 has a different engine that would be commonly found in 240s from its era. It seems that my '84 has the engine that is found in later 240 models such as a 1986 because the cam is completely different than what would commonly be seen in a typical 1984 240 engine bay. However the engine doesn't have some of the things (the power steering is different for example) than my 1991. Are the two engines the same (piston-wise) or are they different??
