Door lock problem 200 1989

art is correct! when you carefully pull the accordian from the door to the pillar you'll notice more than one blue and yellow conductor set in the accordian. the following is a recommendation i found difficult to use BUT it works! give each conductor/wire a PULL--VERY STRONG PULL! the conductor with a broken wire will soon part company at the other end of the break!!! use a 10 inch length of NEW wire and a BUTT CRIMP at each end push the DOOR side of the original wire into the door cavity and the pillar side into the pillar cavity-
[in this case it will be above the fuse panel] when i SAW AND PAID A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC DO THE I NEARLY MESSED MY PANTS!

IT WORKS I'VE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES!

presently i own a 1993 244 180k miles in the past 1985--245 1986, 244's 1990
