'90 740GL Heated Seats 700 1990

I just had my car serviced by Volvo in Long Island, NY.

Since I got it back a few days ago, I noticed that the heated seats button have become very hard to press (yes, it was really cold one day, and I wanted heated leather for my butt). Also, the driver's side button would light up intermittantly - I had to push it into a particular position for it to light. The passenger's side wouldn't light at all.

I can't be sure if the heated seats worked or not, because after a few minutes they were lukewarm anyway.

Are these issues that I might be able to fix/diagnose on my own?
