That's probably about right! 140-160

Right now I've got a '75 164/Automatic that I haven't really driven -- it's a "project" right now. But way back, when I bought a brand new 1973 164/Automatic, it routinely got only about 15 mpg in suburban driving. The best I ever did was about 20 mpg (with a somewhat heavy foot on highway trips), so given that it was in as best shape as it ever would be, this mileage is probably all it was ever meant to be.
