Air conditioner is acting weird, help please. 200 1993

Since the new blower motor was put in my air works great, blows hard and ice cold for about 45 minutes. Then the air flow gradually decreases. I turn off the a/c switch but keep the blower going. The air flow gradually improves and is very cool but not cold. After about 15 minutes, the flow is good again and I turn the a/c switch back on and it blows hard and ice cold again for about 45 minutes. This cycle repeats. Any ideas on what to check?
