Engine swap from 90 740GLE Sedan to 90 740GLE Wagon 700 1990

The engine starts but the idle is over 1000 and the car runs slow. Maybe the reason is for that the sedan engine has EGR Vacuum Controller and EGR Valve with two connectors are hanging on. The Wagon has no wires for the Controller or the Valve connectors. Is it possible the Wagon has no EGR? Maybe this has nothing to do to the high idle. But what is the problem?
