Radiator leak, need a temporary fix. 200 1990

I found a leak at the third row from bottom of the coolant radiator. The leak is 1/4 inch from the surface. I removed the fins one inch each side of the pinhole. I figured that the whole unit seem in good condition and could be repared. If it last 6 months I would be satisfied because the car will then be gone.

After a good cleaning could I use some liquid metal on the area?

I was also thinking about cutting the cell at the leak, fill with epoxy and squeeze and fold each side with long nose pliers. Would that be good?

This has probably been discussed before but the FAQ and search do not work on my computer righ now, big problems with spyware or vvirus I suppose.

Thanks for the help
