odd electrical symptoms -- flasher relay ?? 900 1995

1995 964; 129K mi.

With headlights or parking lights ON, the right-hand turn signal bulbs (front and rear) light up and burn continuously, along with dash indicator. RH signals will not flash when stalk moved, and turn signal flasher unit does not click. LH turn signals function normally although RH lights are still burning steady. 4-way flashers will not flash.

With headlights or parking lights OFF, both turn signals and 4-way flashers function normally.

I'm hoping it's as simple as a flasher unit.


Has anyone encountered this before ?
