cruise control sticky switch 700 1992

Hi everyone,

The button on the end of my turning/cruise control arm is sticking in. When I push it in to set the cruise speed it sticks in for some time: 2 sec to indefinitely. During this time of course the car is accelerating.
With fancy finger work I can turn off the cruise with the slider switch, turn it back on etc. several times until the cruise is set an acceptable speed. Other than that the cruise works fine -the problem seems limited to a sticky switch.

Any advice on disassembling the switch and cleaning it, or would I be better off installing a replacement control arm? Any leads on a source for this part?

Thanks, Scott.
