Preparing old Volvo for road trip 200

Going up to look at dying leaves in the mountains next week and I'll be taking my '88 245 with 200k on it for a 1500 mile round trip drive. I am changing the oil and doing all the obvious stuff but I was wondering if anyone had advice about additional things to do, bring and buy before I head out.
The car runs great and I have taken good care of it in the 2 years that I've had it, but one thing I neglected is the fuel filter. So the other day I stuck my head under the car to see where it was and was shocked to find it with years worth of corrosion and rust on it, I think I am running on the original! I'd assume a 17 year old fuel filter would really hurt the performance on a fuel system, we'll see. Also I am going to take advantage of the highway time to try and clean the injectors so if anyone has any suggestions on fuel additives to run through the system I would appreciate it also. Thanks as always! James
