Replacing K Jetronic with LH 200

I am considering replacing the K Jectronic system in my '81 240 (B21f) with the LH system from an '86 (B230f). I'd like to do it the simple way: change the manifold, leave the head as is, plugging the old injedctor holes - of course there's still the wiring, the pumps, etc. Is that feasible? Would there be any advantage in swapping heads?

Any caveats, any advice? I'm hoping for better fuel economy - is it worth the trouble?

Thanks,

WmB
