Thanks for the advice! I work in Franklin, MA, thus Blackstone is not far at all. I have been looking and looking for a "U-pull-It" sort of yard here since I moved here 2 years ago. I have had little luck.
I would agree that a circuit board would be more sensitive to this treatment. Perhaps I shorted something and simply blew the brains out of the dash pod...
