I have access to an electronics lab..... 200

Do you know if the engineer could test it at work easier than it would be for me to do it?

Probably, if the engineer has a +12 volt DC supply, and can connect it to the relay terminals, as follows:

• Terminal 15, gets the +12 volt input that is connected to all 3 of the 87 output terminals when relay is energized

• Terminal 86, is to be connected by a momentary switch to terminal 15, to simulate the shifter switch button

• Terminals 31 and 85, are both to be connected to -12 volt "ground"
(85 is normally grounded thru the 4th gear switch, to control when OD relay can operate)

• An indicator (+12 volt light, buzzer, etc.) can be connected from any of the 87 terminals to the -12 volt ground, to show when relay is On or Off. This is like the dash indicator, showing that +12 volts is going from relay to the OD solenoid.

• Whenever the Momentary switch between 15 and 86 is pressed, the relay should "toggle" or change state between On and Off

Hope this helps.
