Absolutely no power - PLEASE HELP! 700 1989

Thanks all. I will check all of that - specially the cat - as I did have some rattleing underneath beforehand. I thought it was a heat - shield - and it may eb yet.

One other thing I am having checked is to make sure it is getting fuel. This very well could be the prob. Just got back from the local Volvo dealership, and the staer tech for older bricks said to look here first. ALso I learned that if a car tries to run (as it did) and is starving for fuel - it will run very lean - causing it to run hot (which it did).

I will post back results when I get it all fixed. I am going back up to the shop before long (before they get it in the bay) and swap fuel pump relays with my running 940 - just to make sure that is not it.

Thanks again
