TRAGEDY...MY 245 IS WRECKED!! 200 1989

I loned my 245 wagon to friend to move stuff and she had an accident (not her fault) on the highway, she is OK no broken bones, cuts or bruises. The car was hit on the left rear corner by a "hit-and-run-driver", then pushed into the next lane, hit by another car on the right side quarter panel, then pushed back across three lanes into the wall!! All the tyres and rims were broken. This all happened at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at 60 MPH...WOW!

It's been almost three weeks now and I find that I MUST have another 245. The car was a trusted and depenable friend, it was my favorite car. The "blue moose" was well cared for and required no repairs, he was better then most new cars. I drove the car maybe 5000 miles per year...light duty.

I've been looking hard for a replacement..Ebay, news papers, brickboard, trading times etc...no luck.

So.......is there anyone out there in brickboard land that wants to give their 87-93, 140k max., well maintained 245 a new home? I know it's alot to ask but there maybe someone who is considering a change and wants to find a dependable new owner. I will pay the going market value or above for above average car. I am in the Chicago area and will travel 500 miles for a great car.

I will take great care of the car, promise!!
