hey guys, because of college eating up my income i've decided to sell my second '86 245. (still keeping my primary of course) I'm not exactly sure what i should ask for it but here is everything that i've done to it and maybe someone can help me out with an asking price. also if you are interested you can contact me at aragornchris@hotmail.com
Ok so here goes.. it is a White '86 245 with blue and black pinstriping. It has 206K. the odometer stopped about a month ago while i was driving it so i know that the milage is very close to being accurate. The interior is dark blue vinyl which is all in good, unripped condition. headliner in good shape. The body is pretty good with no visible body rust, just a bit on the lower floor pans. The auto transmission shifts a little hard into second and late into overdrive so i have a replacement that goes with the car. This is what i've done in the past 6 months:
Replaced dashboard with correct color uncracked dashboard
New blower motor, resistor, switch
New rear shocks
New O2 sensor
Rust free hatch shipped in from Texas correct IPD Volvo paint used to color match, with new hatch wiring harnesses
New drivers side brake caliper
All new metalmaster brake pads
New ball joints
New Tie rod ends
Alignment
New Overdrive Solenoid
New Overdrive Relay
New front turn signal lenses
New plugs/wires
New Cap/rotor
A/C works but needs charged
New volvo front speakers
Good replacement auto trans included
This car starts up, runs, and drives great everytime. The trans does shift a little funny but i've never had a problem with it slipping or anything and i've driven it on numerous 500 mile + trips since i got it in February without any problems at all.
What is it worth? anyone interested?
