ECC unit posting a 214 code! 900

The ECC control unit would start flashing a few weeks ago but always reset when I turned the key off until last night. It now is a hard fault so I read my manual to get the DTC and it is a "214". The manual fault type is; Servomotor drive. Motor activated for too long (blocked motor or failure of motor supply) (> 10 S)

Anyone "Been There Done That"?

I'll get out the wiring diagram and check the fuse. Following this I guess I need to pull the glove box and see if a wire/cable has dropped into the wrong place.
