164 Fog Lamps 140-160 1970

Being relatively new to the Volvo scene, I own a 1970 164 and I too love the look of the European market foglamps beside the grill. Perhaps those who have this setup can help me out. In terms of light output, how powerful are the stock foglamps? Is it really worth the time and the effort to find a pair? Or would I be better off to pick a modern replacement? (The Cibie Tango series come to mind here.) After searching the archives, I could only find discussions of different possiblities, but not light performance. Any input would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Nick
