Odd throttle response 700 1986

My latest work on a 740t focuses on the on-off throttle response at low speed. after the car is warm and fighting Seattle traffic, the car is very abrupt in taking my foot on or off the pedal. The car jerks or gains power abnormally hard. Any hints on what this is?

I have been working thru all the various tune up and common issues. This weekend I hope to replace the engine harness as I see pretty severe degradation of the ground wire on the intake manifold.

Thanks in advance

Mike
