Time to replace the front struts 200 1993

One other tip I hope you do not run into the same situation I did on my 240. The strut retainer nut on my car was frozen solid. I tried soaking it with PB Blaster, applying propane gas and hammer with a big pair of vice grips and a pipe wrench that actually "snapped". Good brand it was a rigid.

I have a small oxy-propane torch kit and tried this but it did not work. Finally I found a higher energy gas nappa? (spelling) gas. I replaced the propane with this gas and after heating it well the nut finally moved. The first side took a long time the second side using this method took about 1.5 hrs and not nearly as frustrating.
Cheers
