Good idea about the rear door switches.

My 69 164 had both hood and trunk lights fastened to the hinges with a couple
small screws and a big plastic tab (easily broken) that actuated a mechanical
switch by the movement of the hinge. I've got a couple of the lights but
have not installed them yet.
