considering a 245 200

Love my 95 944t except for the damn pulling, hopefully to be fixed when I replace the powering steering rack. However, need a wagon for general purpose stuff. The additional room is much needed. As a teacher some times I have a lot of junk. Plus, never know when something needs to be hauled. A big reason is also for camping, hiking, etc. The reason for a 240 is that I like the rounded body design of the wagon better than the 740/940. Big question is how much good is a N/A? Will it serve me climbing hills to go camping? Or since my 940 is turbo should I save the frustration and just look for a turbo? I am looking in SoCal for sub $2k. Advice is greatly appreciated.
