3 wires from EZ distrib - is one shielded?? No spark 700 1986

I have no spark on my '86 740 T. I am checking the wires from the distributor and when I pulled back the rubber boot, find a bare wire. However, the cable is very stiff. I suspect this may be a shielded cable??? This terminal with bare wire tests continuity to 4 out of 5 terminals at the " power stage module" ???
This seems odd. But with out a diagram???

Coil has 12v and tests out for resistance.

Background- changed my engine harness ( the Fuel injection one) and now have no spark- suspect I bumped or tweaked a wire in the process- I have checked all my other connections several times... car did run... harness looks good sitting still..... HELP.
