Wheel interchangebility.... 700 1988

I had thought that ABS calipers were what caused clearance issues with certain rims. Then I grabbed this comment from a recent post:

"One thing's for sure. Virgos dont clear the Bendix brake calipers on my '91 740 turbo (no ABS). Dracos do.

Assuming Volvo Farmer is right, the Virgo problem with Bendix non-ABS calipers is the only conflict I'm aware of. I don't think that any 240/740/940 steel rim would have a clearance problem on any 240/740/940 car, but it would be good to get someone else's confirmation on this.
