Dome light and CL problem 200 1987

Art,

Yes, the light is now turned off at the switch. As it is, I can choose between light off at all times, or light on.

I noticed the difference in the wiring between the driver's and the other three doors, and the colors you quote match the wires in my car.

The light was always on when I removed the switches to check the wires behind them, but I only removed one switch at the time, reinstalled and went on to the next.

Connecting the CL can be ruled out as a cause, right? I am reasonably correct in assuming it has got to be a pinched wire that is grounding the courtesy light system?

Thanks,
Erling.
