Some solutions: 1/8' plastic tube & booster

Yesterday I drove to southeast Tulsa and found a nice guy who fixed me up
with the 1/8" plastic tube I needed for Susan's K-jet system. Kind of a pain
to drive 45 miles each way for less than 8" of plastic tubing. But the guy
was really nice, put it on the fittings for me and didn't charge me anything.
So here's a shameless plug for Kim's International in Tulsa. They have all
kinds of hose, tubing, automotive and industrial plumbing stuff, O-rings, etc.

After finding that the one salvage in Tulsa that might have had a brake booster
for the Yellow Peril didn't have one, and noticing extreme changes in the
Yellow Peril's idle speed (attributable to the brake booster's leaking
diaphragm, I think, at least it settled down when I disconnected the booster
and plugged the manifold fitting) I bit the bullet and called Revolvstore in
Tucson. They have a booster and it is on the way to me. I'm not sure I have
bought anything from them since I've been back in Oklahoma, but I have been
pretty happy with their service and moderately happy with their prices
all along. They are giving me a 6-month warranty on the booster.

So things are looking up. Should've asked them about a D-jet throttle switch...
