Drain holes in bottom of doors.... Is water meant to get inside the door? 200 1986

If you still have the door panel off, it might be worth while to take some measures to keep the door panel dry. The panels on my 81 were getting soaked and falling apart at the bottm.

I cleaned/killed the mold & mildew with tilex, after it dried I applied a healthy portion of spray paint to act as protectant/sealant whatever, and finally used spray adhesive to glue on a sheet of plastic (heavy duty trash bag cut open). It's been a couple years and it has held up well. The panel is still soft, but deteriotion has stoped.
