760 running problem 700

I have an 89 760. Right after I bought it - it would buck/try to die - under hard acceleration. If I let off it would pick back up and go. As long as I did not press it too hard - it would get on up to speed.

Even after it would get to speed - I would be in the freeway - cruising along at about 60 or so - and it would die - like it was running out of gas. I would pull over - and after a minute - it would start back up - and as long as I did not push it too hard I could go for another 30 miles or so - and it would do it again.

Turned out to be a bad distributor. The shaft was loose and wobbleing - and would cause problems with the pickup. Once replaced - no more bucking under acceleration - and no more dying on the highway.
