Bulb failure sensor light on 700 1986

My 1986 740 was dinged in a parking garage and the left rear tail light assembly was replaced by a body shop. They replaced it with a new assembly but the bulbs were inferior or mismatched. I replaced all the bulbs on both assemblies in the rear with OEM bulbs. The light sensor went out and was fine for two weeks. Yesterday the flasher went out and the bulb sensor light came on. I replaced the flasher relay and that problem is fixed but the bulb failure light is still on. I checked all the lights and they are fine. What could be the problem? Thamks in advance for any help in fixing this problem,
