Swapped inst cluster, clock Quest? 900 1994

Fried my dash last night while working on the fuel guage, ign was on while i had the dash out and the key shorted a couple of contacts. Puff of smoke and only had temp guage and clock working after that. Got one today with the electronically adjustable clock, which adjusts with the elctronic pushbuttons on the dash. Formerly mine had the manual cluster mounted adjuster stalk. Pulled the switch adjuster from the pick and pull with the cluster. No wiring apparent in my car. Might these wires/connectors be taped off on my harness somewhere or would i have a totally different harness not containing these connectors. I ended up leaving half the cluster unlpugged for 20 minutes until the correct time rolled around, of course we will be changing the clocks in another month. Does anyone know if the same harness is in all or most 7s and 9s. Got the cluster from a 91 745.......... TIA Tom Wasney 27940aholic
