Replacement lower motor mount bracket (driver side) 200 1989

While replacing my worn out motor mounts this weekend, one of the bolts on the lower driver's side mount bracket snapped in half (these are the bolts that attach the mount to the front cross member). I figured that it wouldn't be a big deal - a bolt can be replaced, right? - but when I got the dang thing off, I saw that the bolts are actually a part of the bracket (welded in or something).

Two questions:
1. Would it be unsafe to just drill the broken bolt out and put a new matching one in it's place?
2. If #1 is a bad idea, where could I find a used bracket to replace this one (there are unfortunately no pick & pulls in my area)?

Thanks in advance,

Sonoflee
