sudden death restarts 200 1987

My 87 245 has developed a strange behavior. I starts great. I have remote start and so I always warm it up...even in TX summers. Drives great, about a mile down the road while moving it dies suddenly. I throw it in neutral and restart. So far, this has happened only in the neighborhood. This morning it happend on the ramp to the interstate in the dark. Cars couldn't see me and I was really scared. She started right up and they all swerved and all is ok. But I have got to address this problem. It only started last week.
I named this car the HOWLER and finally diagnosed wheel bearing issues and replaced front ones. Guess I'll have to find a new name. Maybe "resurrection".

Can someone enlighten me what to search for so I can start figuring this out.
