How to replace wagon taillights 200 1989

Hi, all! I have a set of Euro taillights (lens only) that I wanna put on my wagon. Before I begin the job of taking out the old lens and putting on the new lens, could someone clue me in on the steps of lens removal? Is it as straightforward as unscrewing the two nuts holding the lens in place? Is that it? Anything I need to be careful about? What about putting new lens on? Thanks?
