Vacuum Leak from Heater / AC controls 700 1986

I am getting a vacuum leak from one or more of the multicolored vacuum hoses that go into the back of the climate control assembly. If I pull it out of the dash and push on the hoses, it will stop hissing but the hissing comes back after a few minutes. Normally, I would clip the ends of the vacuum hose to get a tighter fit, but unlike most vacuum hoses, these don't seem to come out of the collar that they are pushed into.

Is there a trick to curing vacuum leaks on the climate control assembly?
