240 motor mounts skewed. 1984

I replaced both motor mounts and the trans mount in my 84 240 with a B23F about 4 months ago. I noticed last evening that while the driver side mount sits quite straight up and down, the passenger side mount is heavily skewed, as though there are lateral forces pulling it or pushing it to the left even when the car is shut off. IS this a normal situation, or is it possible that I installed it incorrectly? I thought that there was only one way it could be installed, but perhaps I was incorrect in that assumption. Can any one suggest what may be wrong?
