1988 760 Turbo - changing motor mounts 700

What is the best "plan of attack" for changing the motor mounts for a 760 turbo?

I find the FAQ tremendously useful, but I'm a visual guy - I like seeing pictures and diagrams and such. There isn't any such material available on the subject, so I've been doing a little bit of recoinnassance before tackling the project. The driver side mount looks like it's neatly accessible, but the passenger side mount is buried underneath the turbo. To me it looked like the best way to approach the top nut on that side is going to be from the rear using an u-joint. Have I just found the "secret entrance to the batcave" or is there an easier way? Any other tips and tricks would also be appreciated.
