CAM racks tie rod lockwasher/ NA 200 1991

I posted recently about replacing the tie rod and how to remove and re use the lock washer which I remember being there on my 84 and 81 240's.
I went to the dealer and according to the parts book for 91's , there is no lock washer. The parts guy said he believes they discontinued its use. The ZF rack still shows a lockwasher.
So I guess I'll just use some locktite. It would appear the lockwasher is not neccessary as the rod is locked at the outer end by the locking nut.
