No central locking, not relay 700 1991

Just acquired a second '91 745 with 213K miles and if power locks are the worst of my problems, I am very happy :-)

But I hope someone can shoot down my logic or offer suggestions from experience. Driver's door lock does not actuate any of the other locks. The central locking relay clicks twice as it should though, so I conclude that both the relay (and a spare relay I tried) and the switch in the driver's door are good. The wiring from the driver's door must be good too. So anyone got an idea where to look next?
