Dash harness routing, driver side 200 1992

All right folks, I'm finally ready to put the drivetrain back into the 92 245, but I dedided to put the steering column back in first as the steering column linkage is easier to get to with the engine out. My question is if the driver side dashboard harness(es) go on top of or below the steering column. I suspect it is over the top, but I just want to make sure that I only have to do this job once!

Over the next week or two, I will be posting pics of the new enginge bay and drivetrain of this rather painful resto-mod project. I'll post another message when I actually get the pictures out there. Some of the "special" touches include a mirror polished intake manifold and throttle body (inside and out). Man, does this ever boost the appearance of a B230x engine!

Thanks,

jorrell
