Squeaking Cluth Pedal....Now more obvious after soundproofing the car 200

This could be the "stupid" question of the Day but I am going to ask anyway.

Does anyone know what is the best way to silence a squeaking cluth pedal? I really don't want to take anything apart. Will WD40 do the Job or I will have to take the assembly appart for greazing the joints?

Now that I am almost complete with the sound proofing job this is a quite obvious noise source along with a wind noise cominf from the pillar mounted antenna.

After I used almost 100square feet of sound deadeding material (B-Quiet) I am quite annoyed by that squeak. I guess it was always there but I noticed this more after the soundproofing.
