smoke from the engine 700 1989

I just bought this 740 turbo wagon. Changed the oil and tuned it up before taking it to get emission test done. Cranked and drove fine no smoke. Shut it off to go check in. Waited about 15 mins cranked it up to pull in the bay and it started smoking alot. Smoked the whole time the test was going on. Surprisingly it passed they shut it down and cleared out the smoke. I went inside and paid the bill and got my paper work. Started it up and the smoking was gone. Over the past couple of days it has only smoked a little. The person I bought it from said something about oil leaking into the turbo. If this is the case what is the fix.
Thanks New volvo owner
