found a mid 70's 242 sitting......what to offer? 200 1976

today i drove past a house that i haven't been by in a while and noticed the volvo sitting next to it which has been sitting (not used) for years. i decided to ask the owner about it if home which he wasnt so i just took a look. It seems to be about a '76 242 DL with the flat hood. the grill and headlight buckets are either in the trunk or missing, it has a relatively nice charcoal interior and a pretty nasty yellow exterior. there is some rust on the deck lid edge and on the very bottom rear quarters. the taillight lenses were also missing. i didnt get a good look at the floors or anything because i didnt want to look snoopy or anything. I left a note in the door of their house asking if they'd be interested in selling or parting and left my # to call. if they are interested in getting that thing out of their yard and would ask a best offer for it...what should i offer for something like that? i'm not very familiar with the worth of the old 2 doors and especially it being a flathood... suggestions anyone?
