strange new noise: '86 240 wagon 200

I am stumped. The sound started this morning out of the blue. It sounds like the chains off a trailer hitch draging and clanking when they are not attached right. Except I'm not pulling a trailer.

I stopped and got under and all around, but don't see anything touching the ground except the tires.

It does seem to be drive related as it stops when the car stops (or just before at about 5 mph). The noise is faster at high speeds but not so much that it seems to be attached to a wheel.

Could it be a wheel bearing? Something drivetrain related? Could a suspension probelm cause this?

Maybe related: I added some power steering fluid last night. The level was low. I checked cause the power stearing felt like it was going-out while I was parking yesterday.

Thanks, any thoughts are appreciated
