Engine flush 940 Turbo 900 1993

For about 2 years, I noticed the engine oil is black about 500 miles after the oil change Mobile 1. Volvo does not recommend flushing. Engine is in perfect condition despite 12 years of age. No oil topping is required. My question: Should I go for engine flushing as recommended by mechanics? Is the chemical agent adding to the engine oil and run for 5 minutes a safe method? Is there any impact for a Turbo engine? Will there be side effects like lossening of piston rings, valve etc arising from the flush?
What is the opinion? Those who have experience, kindly share please. I want my car to run for the next 10 years. Right now, everything is perfect.
